Welcome! I will be starting as an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the University of New Mexico in August 2008. I graduated with my Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State University in August 2007 and then served as an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Illinois State University during the 2007-2008 academic year. My primary research program currently falls within the fields of public economics and macroeconomics with specific focus on social security, life-cycle consumption theory, and bounded rationality modeling.
